About

RESEARCH
My principal research interests lie in the field of new media and technology, especially the media convergence (technological, economical, social and cultural aspects). I am currently investigating specific elements of this process in Polish media environment for my dissertation. I use several methods: case studies based on discursive content analysis and graphs analysis; and interviews. My research concerns on convergence strategies implemented by Polish media corporation ITI Group and converging media users. Thesis is interdisciplinary and derives from media studies (media ecology, cultural studies, political economy, creative industries studies), sociology (network analysis) and integrated marketing.
